Concerned about the content of a game? AmysGames Entertainment has a rating system, so you can know what you're getting into before you get into it!

Under the Rating section of a game or other media's description, you will see a box that looks something like this:

In the following sections, I will explain what each of these figures means.

Figure 1 - Specific Rating
This bar is the specific rating bar. In this bar, you will see the following letters:

V, FV, H, L, O

And each of these letters will be either gray, green, yellow, or red.

V stands for violence. This will tell you if the game depicts any violence to be concerned about.

FV stands for fantasy violence. Similar to V, this tells you if there is any violence in the game involving magic or other forms of non-realistic techniques.

H stands for humor. This will tell you if the game has any humor of questionable taste.

L stands for language. We will never use profanities here at AmysGames Entertainment, but sometimes the dialogue may get a bit crude or inappropriate for younger audiences.

O stands for other. If there is any questionable content that does not fit into any of the above categories, it will be noted here.

The colors of the letters indicate how strong of a rating it is for each of those respective categories.

• Gray means there is no content involving that subject, or not enough to be concerned about.
• Green means there will be some content involving that subject, but it is very mild, and nothing too serious.
• Yellow means there will be a moderate amount of content involving that subject, and you should proceed with caution.
• Red means there will be a lot of content involving that subject, and you should stay away from this game if that subject bothers you. Don't expect to see this a lot, though!

Hovering over one of the subject letters will give you a more detailed account of what sort of content gives the game that level of rating, which you can see in figure 3.
Figure 2 - Overall Rating
Alongside the specific rating, we also offer a more broad estimate of what approximate age group the game is geared toward, known as the overall rating. In the top right corner of the rating box, you will see one of the following:

For all ages Everyone — This game is safe for people of all ages!
For ages 10+ 10+ — This game involves violence or other subjects not recommended for younger children. It is recommended that you are at least 10 years of age to play this game.
For ages 13+ 13+ — This game includes content not appropriate for children. It is recommended that you are at least 13 years of age to play this game.
For ages 18+ 18+ — I literally have no plans to use this, but it's provided for completeness. Hypothetically, this game would contain mature content not suitable for people under the age of 18.
For youth Youth — AmysGames Entertainment may at some point in the future provide games aimed for a younger audience. In such a case, it would be indicated by this.

Note that this is only meant to give a vague idea of the intended demographic for the game in question, and anyone with specific concerns about the content should instead reference the specific rating.
Figure 3 - Details Box
Hovering over the letters in the specific rating bar will give you a more detailed description of the rating, which will be displayed in the details box as shown in the following example:

Rating (What's this?) For ages 13+
V FV H L O

As you can see, the details box will detail the extent of the rating, and gives those concerned about content in a game an idea of what to expect.
Some ratings are less solid and will have a note that their rating 'may change over time.' This is for content that is incomplete, or has continuous updates that might not be entirely scripted at this point.

As mentioned earlier, the content here on AmysGames Entertainment will never contain any content not suitable for persons under the age of 18. This rating system is mainly for those of you who might get concerned about certain subjects that might be brought up from time to time.
