The Fall of Sesrina

Sesrina is described as one of the most powerful beings in all of Curissya, matched only by the great beast Myofet. Sesrina and Myofet worked together as partners, acting as peacekeepers and doing everything they could to keep Curissya safe.

However, over time, the two of them start to have disagreements. When Sesrina decides to be what Myofet deems to be overly generous to a man who wrongfully stole an herb, Myofet questions her decision and reminds her that thievery should be punished. Sesrina sticks to her guns, reaffirming what the thief said that he needed the herb to heal his sick daughter. But they push the matter aside for the moment and continue on their way to a meeting with the Lurieyn Council.

At the meeting, Myofet notices a disturbance outside, and Sesrina sends him to deal with it while she continues with the meeting. Myofet discovers that someone was trying to steal a scroll, and decides to go with his instincts and punishes the thief harshly. Sesrina senses this, and calls him out for being overly harsh, leading to another argument. Again, they decide to leave the matter for now so as not to cause a scene, but with tempers still flared.

As time passes, the wedge between the two Guardians drives them further and further apart, before they finally decide to part ways. Myofet, without Sesrina to keep him grounded, visits the Witch Kingdom to ask the warlock king for a tome on pocket dimensions. Using his own powerful magic, he creates the Dark Realm, a nightmarish prison for those Myofet deems to be unjust. Sesrina is appalled by this decision, and decides that her duty as a protector of the people forces her to fight Myofet.

Myofet becomes more and more unstable, eventually calling for a razing, sending his Dark Realm beasts to destroy all the wrongdoers so Curissya can start over with a fresh slate. Finally, Sesrina makes the decision that the only way to stop Myofet is to seal him and the Dark Realm away for good... unfortunately, with how powerful Myofet is, the only thing powerful enough to maintain such a seal is her own life force. Despite the inherent danger of ridding Curissya of its Guardians, Sesrina goes through with the plan, feeling that she has no other choice.

With Myofet and Sesrina gone, the Dark Realm beasts fade away, and peace is restored to Curissya. Though the citizens mourn the loss of the Great Sorceress Sesrina, life goes on.

At the very end of the comic, we catch a glimpse of a younger Sanry reading about the story of Sesrina in the Chekiku City library. He thinks to himself that this information will surely come in handy someday...
